2026 – 2027
This league shall be called the WEDNESDAY NITE MIXED. It shall be sanctioned by the UNITED STATES BOWLING CONGRESS (USBC) and shall function under the constitution or authority of NORTHERN UTAH USBC. All bowlers must be 18 years old or older and be members of the USBC and the Northern Utah USBC for the season. Membership dues cost $26.00 per year.
All League officers must be current members of USBC and Northern Utah USBC for the season. League officers must also be active bowlers in this league.
Teams:
Teams will consist of 4 to 6 players, although only 4 can bowl each week. Teams can be made up of any combination of males and females and may be entirely made-up of males or females. Two regular members of the team must be present to constitute a legal lineup. If less than two members of the team are present the points will be forfeit unless makeup games were previously arranged with either the league secretary (James Schow) or league president (Manuel Perez). A bowler on a team roster cannot serve as a substitute bowler for another team in this league.
Team Members:
All bowlers must bowl with one primary hand (right or left), no exchanging during the season, unless there is an injury or surgery. At that time, a captain’s vote will be taken. If passed, the bowler will re-establish an average with the other hand.
When multiple bowlers are up on the approach ready to bowl, the bowler on the right has the right-of way to bowl first.
Never stand or approach the ball return when a bowler on either side of you is on the approach ready to bowl.
NO CELL PHONES ON THE LANES. Please end all calls before heading to the approach.
BE READY TO BOWL WHEN IT IS YOUR TURN TO BOWL. Failure to comply can result in a zero score for that frame.
In the case of a late bowler, a team member will be considered absent if not present by the end of the third frame of any game and must wait until the start of the next game to bowl or take a zero score in the first three frames of that game, then begin bowling in the fourth frame. When league play starts late bowlers must be put in skipped mode while other bowlers begin bowling. NO WAITING FOR LATE BOWLERS.
NO CHILDREN ON THE APPROACH AND BOWLING AREA. Please pay close attention to all children you are responsible for in the bowling alley.
Please don’t enter the approach and bowling area for another team unless you have a league-related reason to do so. There is limited space on the approach and bowling area, and we need to respect the bowlers trying to bowl on those lanes.
Each bowler will only be allowed 1 ball on the ball return at a time. Please store all spare and unused bowling balls on the rack below the ball return, at your table, or in your bag.
Each team will be given priority over either the two tables in the bowling area or the big table above the bowling area. Do not store your supplies or equipment on the other team’s table(s).
Note, please give teams with family’s priory over the big table because their children are not allowed in the bowling area.
All bowlers will respect Davis Lanes Equipment and Property, Davis Lanes Staff, and the other bowlers on the Wednesday Nite Mixed League.
Length of the League:
League season will be 32 weeks long beginning on August 26, 2026, and ending April 7, 2027.

A fifth team will be a wild card team, determined by the highest number of wins all year and did not win a quarter.
The top four quarter champions and wildcard team will also bowl to determine league champions.
The four quarter winning teams will be ranked 1-4 based on total wins. The wild card team will always be ranked 5th.

Game 2: The 3rd place team will play the winner of game 1.
Game 3: The 2nd place team will play the winner of game 2.
